today we will prepare jeera potatoes which can be prepared instantly.
let’s see what all ingerdients are required for making jeera aloo.
potatoe s- 400 grams (boiled and peeled)
oil – 2-3 tbsp
green coriander – 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)
red chilly – 1/4 tsp
turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
mango powder – 1/2 tsp
cumin seeds – 1 tsp
ginger – 1 inch piece (grated)
coriander powder- 1 tsp
garam masala – less then 1/4 tsp
salt – as per taste or 1 tsp
green chilly – 2 (cut lengthwise)
dry fenugreek leaves- 1 tbsp
asafoetida- 1-2 pinch
preheat pan first.
meanwhile dice potatoes.
make four chunks of one potato
add 2 tsp oil in pan.
when oil gets hot add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
after sauteing cumin seeds add turmeric powder,coriander powder,green chilly,ginger,dry
fenugreek leaves,red chilly,potatoes,salt,garam masala and mango powder.
mix all ingerdients really well.
saute for 3-4 minutes.
jeeta aloo are ready;now add green coriander into it.
turn off the gas.
tempting jeera aloo are ready.
serve jeera aloo with chapatti,parantha or naan.
it the most delicious sabzi to be packed in tiffin.
