Shakshouka is pourched eggs in tomato sauce from Israel!
You can add any ingredients of your taste! These and some tomatoes are all you need!

I’ll feature couscous in a future video! This is all the preparation for today, super simple right?
I pealed the tomato skin, crushed it and then froze it
It’s basically home made tomato whole! you can also use canned tomatoes
you can grind it too
my mom noticed that I use a lot of tomatoes and made this for me 🙁
oil the pan using olive oil
and add garlic!

garlic and onion get sweeter as you cook them!

cumin powder for some extra flavor!
Add some cayenne pepper for a little spice
this is all to add some extra flavor so it isn’t mandatory!
add some paprika!

I can smell the cumin! My family hate it but I love the scent!
add the tomato whole! give it time to melt

season it depending on your taste using salt and pepper! (i didn’t add any because I’m trying a low-salt diet)
after some time simmering it, crack open eggs

and there you have your super simple Shakshouka!
