Banting Meatball Bake Recipe
400g steak mince
3 Tablespoons of chopped coriander
1 teaspoon of mixed herbs
1 teaspoons of ground cumin
himalayan salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of balsamic glaze
Combine all ingredients
Add a bit of coconut flour if needed
Form into balls
Fry in 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Turn frequently until both sides are done.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a saucepan
Add 2 thinly sliced cloves of garlic
Add 2 sliced chillies
1 teaspoon of tomato paste
200g (half a can) of tomato puree
Add himalayan salt and pepper to taste.
And 1 teaspoon of xylitol
Stir for one minute
Allow to simmer until done.
Pour sauce over meatballs.
Until completely covered.
Top with 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
Bake at 200 degress celsius until cheese has melted, then grill for another 1 – 2 minutes.
Serve with some veggies and enjoy.
