Hi everyone Today I will make chicken curry with hard-boiled egg It is a recipe of chicken curry with enough gravy . when the curry will be almost done,I will add the eggs This recipe is common in some disctricts of Bangladesh Foreign countries like Malaysia is famous for such food Let us see the ingredients Chicken curry pieces – half a kilo onion slices lengthwise- half a cup Hard boiled chicken eggs- 3 Turmeric powder : 1teaspoon Red chili powder : 1.25 teaspoon Cumin Powder : 3/4 teaspoon Roasted cumin seeds powder : half a teaspoon in the end for a nice smell Bay leaf : 1 big size cut into half Cinnamon stick – 2 ( 1.5 inch long each) medium strength Cardamom – 4 pieces Cloves- 3 pieces Oil – to cook Salt- to taste Garlic paste – 3/4 teaspoon Ginger paste – 1.5 teaspoon I added 6 tablespoons of oil Heated it under mediumheat Add the onion slices When it turns brown I added garlic,ginger paste and salt Now add bayleaf,cinnamon,cardamom,cloves Stir it for few seconds Cook it for 1 minute under medium heat After 1 minute it is perfectly brown in col Now add 1.5 tablespoons of water . Then add turmeric,chili,cumin powder Mix it very well Cook for 1 minute under medium heat without any lid After 1 minute , again add 1.5 tablespoons of water Mix it well Cook for 2 minutes under medium heat without lid For Bengali meat curry cooking,it is important to cook the spices well before adding meats After 2 minutes Give it a quick mix Now add the chicken pieces I mixed it for 15 seconds Now cook it under medium heat with lid on for 5 minutes Stir it occasionally to avoid burn After 5 minutes Mix it well again Lots of water comes from the chicken meat I will cook it for few more minutes without adding water. Cover it and cook under medium heat for 10 minutes After 10 minutes I will add water for gravy Before adding water stir it again ** during last 10minutes cooking I stir it after 5 minutes passed Now add 1 and a 3/4 cup of water Give it a quick stir Cover it and turn the flame to high. Once starts boiling, turn the heat to medium -high And cook it for 10 minutes After 10 minutes cooking Now add the eggs Now turn the heat to medium Cover it and cook it for next 15 minutes During last 15 minutes cooking, when 10 minutes passed I sprinkled roasted cumin powder Now cover it half with the lid like this Turn the heat very low and cook for next 5 minutes After 5 minutes this is how it looks like Turn off the flame This is the chicken curry with hard-boiled egg To watch more videos you can subscribe my channel To subscribe my channel click the logo on the right bottom corner of this screen Get connected to my facebook page.
